From the 8th -11th of Sept 2011

The Grimmuseum is once again teaming up with Tupajumi Foundation to organize the second FITAX1500 in Berlin,
offering an alternative way of wheeling and dealing art during the artfair week.

The goal of the event is the direct exchange of art works between collectors and artists without any intermediate.

There will be over 50 participants,
a grand mixture of artists and collectors,
invited by Grimmuseum or selected by Tupajumi after a sign up procedure.
so be quick to enlist and to get selected.

The artworks can be made by or owned by the applicant.
It needs to have an approximate value of 1.500 euro.
This can be one artwork or perhaps 2 artworks which will be traded as one

This time though we will do it a slightly different,
on the 8th of Sept we wil open the FITAX1500, (19-23hrs)
The artworks from the participants should (at this stage) be present at the Grimmuseum.
This will be start of the ON-VIEW

The artworks will remain hanging until the actual trade-event commences on the 11th.

During the next 3 days we will add artworks from artists & collectors whom we met during the Artfair Weekend.
So that on Sunday (17-22hrs) the Grimmuseum will be full of Artworks ready to be traded off amongst the participants.

For those people who are new to the FITAX and
desperately need just a little more information:

This edition will be the FITAX1500
which means that you will be able to trade one artwork,

for another of the same estimated value which is aprox.1500€..

You can trade an artwork which is made or belonging to you
!! No money involved !!

This is the perfect moment to renew your collection,
to start a collection, or just to swap an artwork.

Step 3:
When selected, bring your artwork on the 8th of Sept to the Grimmuseum between 17.00- 18.00

Step 4:
enjoy the evening , take peek at the artworks presented and try to make a wishlist.

Step5:
Come back on the 11th at 17.00hrs and
after the small speech we will commence trading.
(the rules will be explained during the speech)

We will even introduce you to your fellow participants if requested !
And don't forget: you don't have to trade.
